Open Position for Paramedic

The Polk County Board of County Commissioners has just posted for the position of Paramedic (Non Fire Certified). This latest job posting is different from recent postings in that many of the pre-hire requirements have been moved to post hire (EVOC, ICS classes, PHTLS, PALS, etc.).
The advertised hiring rate is $41,589.60 and interested candidates can apply online at http://www.polk-county.net/
There is currently no closing date on the posting. Also, please note that candidates will need proof of completion of a medical physical ability test. Details on this and other requirements are in the job posting in the above link.
