Earn an ASN with HCI

Becoming a nurse is a rewarding choice in careers.

As a nurse, you will be a key member of healthcare teams, working daily to support physicians and other medical professionals, providing patient care and education, and fulfilling your dream to help people who are in a time of need. To begin this exciting journey, you’ll need to start with the right education and training.

With an associate of science degree in nursing (ASN), you will become eligible to work as a nursing assistant (NA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), or a registered nurse (RN). RNs in particular are often in demand, as they are the nursing professional at this education level best equipped to provide the most hands-on care.

At Health Career Institute, you can begin your journey toward becoming a nurse with the 72-credit ASN program.

HCI’s ASN Program

The nursing program at HCI focuses on several crucial areas of study, which include technical nursing skills that allow you to provide care for individuals of all ages in multiple healthcare settings; wellness education for self and others; critical care concepts; and how to continue developing professionally after graduation and certification. You will gain insight you’ll need to work in a hospital, school, long- or short-term care facility, or other community-based spaces.

When you complete the program, you will walk away with your ASN and the credentials required to sit for the NCLEX, the National Council Licensing Exam. Successful completion of this test means you are ready to apply for jobs as a nurse.
