Over the last 20 years, Nurses’ salaries have increased even when inflation is factored in. The current average salary for a Registered Nurse is $67,188 which is nine percent higher than it would be if only inflation was factored in.

There was a time when Nursing simply meant caring for patients, but today it goes far beyond that. Today’s Nurses have the option of everything from caring for patients to designing hospitals.

Nursing has always been a field in high demand, and that has not changed. Between 2010 and 2020, there is a growth of 26 percent expected, which translates to 700,000 new job openings.
