New Classes Start May 6th

Lorelaine Rodriguez Hernandez, CVT

Lorelaine attended City College Hollywood for the Veterinary Technology Program in 2014 and graduated with an Associates in Science in 2016. She passed the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam) and obtained her license to be an officially Certified Veterinary Technician.

During one of her externships in 2015 she was hired at the General Practice Clinic and has been working there ever since. She was able to move up quickly from Room Tech to Surgery Tech to Tech Supervisor. Lorelaine has always been passionate about education and found a love for teaching. So HCI College is a perfect fit!

One aspect of veterinary medicine that she truly enjoys is the client education. From puppy or kitten education to animal behavior and restraint, Lorelaine believes it is imperative that we not only further educate the veterinary staff but also educate the community on the importance of proper care for their furry loved ones.

When she is not working, Lorelaine enjoys long walks with her dogs, even going to the Dog beach! Reading, watching movies/TV, pet-sitting. If there was one thing she could not live without, it would be ice cream!
