Required textbooks and materials are extremely expensive. It is Health Career Institute’s policy is to keep the cost of books to the student as low as possible. The textbooks required for EMT and Paramedic students are included in the cost of the program and given to the student when enrollment is complete. For some specialized certificate courses students will purchase their own copies of texts. A limited number of these titles are made available, for the student’s convenience, for purchase at the school.
HCI goes above and beyond teaching classes. We feel promotional and career development should be just that. Not just teaching in a classroom but to apply it where and when it counts. Out there in the REAL WORLD (CPR on a one hundred thousand dollar manikin that actually is like a real person..at the..simulation lab at FAU. HCI has hands on training even one on one if thats what it takes. In the driver training class a three credit course HCI used different Fire Departments' fire engines. Our community fire departments assist HCI in training students and in remembering 9/11. At HCI we even have a career for some trained dogs.
HCI has an approved financial advisor for the Veterans Benefits (VA) and or Qualifying Dependant Benefits who attends yearly conferences. HCI also has a financial director that assists students with receiving their Florida Prepay and Bright Future benefits.
