The course is designed to introduce students to basic concepts, theories, and methods in Sociology. It will help student develop their writing and critical thinking skills, and show how Sociology can be applied to their own lives. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: Sociological Theory, Culture, Society, Research Methods, Social Interaction / Inequalities / Institutions & Change.
